im a great big fan of violence/gore in films….i love horror….vampires, werewolves, most things supernatural…..
Last night i found an old disc with DOG SOLDIERS on it. Hadnt watched it in a while, so stuck on….Didnt make it through completely before falling asleep….but thats more a reflection of my tiredness than the films quality…..and i must say – its a great film…could watch again right now….if you havent seen it, i would advise you to……
I f your a fan of horror/gore like me, then this film is for you…small bits of comedy through out, which are generally really funny one liners – eg There is no spoon…..
The Wolves are massive puppet type ones so realism better not be top of your list of musts for this type of film – They are awesome…..
see it, etc….netflix it if you have it…..why have lovefilm not started on the uk xboxlive like netflix has for the us….why why why……

Season finale of dexter was good…the penultimate episode was better in my opinion but it was good none the less…Has Dexter left a few drips of blood at the skinners death scene…also i wonder if his kid will be mental…..
Hypknotoad lent me Fallout 3….enjoying it so far….spent years playin oblivion and this is pretty similar…..lock picking is alot easier….the shooting system is ok…gives you time to shoot mutants before there runnin up in your face….Have died quite a few times already and its been sending me miles back….must remember to save…..
Check this Helmet out….simulates head shots apparently….to be used in conjunction with a vest that simulates body shots.I will sum up this “Gadget” for you…..

Been at Hypknotoads a good bit playing left 4 dead on my projector while he plays on his lcd tv. Good craic indeed. Wathed a little of him playing Prince of Persia. Looks good. Looks like mirrors edge but maybe a bit less frustrating and a bit more fun…..
Played a bit of halo…wasnt good….took ages to get a game…and i cant play it anymore…my accuracy was bad enuff when i was playing alot – now its really bad.
Left 4 Dead needs more levels for the versus mode…still fun tho….
Watched the last episode of True Blood – Was entertaining – sooki takes a fair beating, bill is stupid and nearly dies…not bad….
Listening to Jay z / Kanye West – Pretty good. great remixes of classic jay z tracks. Jay z go smokin la la la la
Watched Spiderman 3 again. Coulda been great…At this stage i really hate toby maguire…far to nerdy….and stupid bloody harry osbourne – what a random story line his was….
Also watched transformers again….Love this film…action packed with my favourite childhood toys in the lead role……crazy size difference between all the robots…cant wait for revenge of the fallen…woot woot woot!
Watched Indiana Jones – Crystal Skull bla bla – Terrible -over the top – Indy looks about 80, the way he hobles about….shia laboef or whatever you call him is poor in this….so very poor……
Thats it over….just another rant……
I spend alot of time on buses and also suffer from motion sickness if i concentrate on something (video or reading).
This limits my options to listening to music or podcasts.

Really enjoying the sarcastic gamer red show. Its very, very funny and the presenters are easy to like. Sarcastic gamer has a load of different shows (ps show, girls show,etc)
Joystiq was a favourite of mine from the start. it was the first podcast i listened to. Was very funny and the presenters were full of information. Recently its been dropping down my list due to other podcast having the same info but being a lot funnier. Ludwig is very humourous indeed…
My Must listen to podcast is the Cagcast or Cheap Ass Gamer. The two presenters are Cheapy D and Wombat.
Cheapy D is the lead on the show. He lives in Japan while Wombat is in the US. Cheapy has alot of Japan related stories which are very entertaining. Recent ones include a visit to a japanese sex hotel. Apparently they are very popular.
Wombat generally just chirps in every so often with hilairious statements. Sounds very like George Michael from Arrested Development……i think…..

Kinda like Buffy/Angel….ie 30 mins of talking and tension followed by 10 mins of action…..with vampires, shapeshifters and other supernatural types…….
Watched thru the first 11 episodes so far…tis quite slow moving but interesting enough on the whole…..
Gonna watch the season Finale tonight – lets hope its good…….

Been watchin a fair few tv shows recently and thot id share my opinion about a few of them……
Lets start with my favorites at the moment –
Dexter – Good Shiz….season 3 is starting to get good after a slow start…season 2 was excellent…i highly recommend this show…
Entourage – Just finished watchin every season in order – great show….Johnny Drama is frickin hilarious and also Ari Gold the agent is extremely funny…..
Arrested Development – I used to watch this really late at night when it was first aired in the uk, and thot it was great….excellent characters…GOB being the best in my eyes……I will never forget the chicken dance…..I just watched thru all 3 series and was not dissapointed – its a great show…..i hear talk of a movie over the interweb, but i think it may not be a great idea….leave it….please….

Sarah Connor Chronicles – Really not a great story line so far, but watchable….
Supernatural – Had a slow start, but some great one off episodes in season 3 so far….
Nevermind the Buzzcocks – Great episode this week – A laffed alot…nuff said etc….

Whats the craic with the Heroes Haters!!!!!
Do you haters not realise that its a show about Superheroes? It cant be anything but cheesy….its not real life…the story may have gone a bit astray, but its no reason to stop watchin the show completely (as i hear various podcasters saying..).
When you haters write a better show then you can complain…

Have been watchin a few films recently as usual…not enough films come out that warrant me taking a look….
Lost Boys 2 was mediocre, but entertaining enough due to one half of the Frog Bros returning to action with a stupid put on gruff voice….bloody hilarious….
Max Payne was random…had an overly supernatural feel right the way through even tho it was not in any way supernatural….Mark Wahlberg was pretty poor…..like constantine if you replace the devil, demons etc with hallucinations……meh…..
The Dark Knight is excellent….watch it if you havent already…..found it to be a bit long the second time around….good overall story…..The joker is excellent too….rip heath…..
On the batman subject – you should definitely watch Gotham Knight, the animation – really good, lots of representation of batman including a digimon like one which was my favourite….do it man

Well, Just finished editing a couple of tracks for Nanook and The Kits. Nanook were pretty average, but the kits were well above……
Check The Kits Out – – They hail from Melbourne and are currently world touring….Laverys isnt a great venue to play mind you……terrible lighting, terrible sound, and if your above 6ft tall then your head gets cut off by the ceiling!!!……..
Well…….played GHWT on wii….was very disapointed…..Looks similar to the GH3 game.
I loved GH3, and loved Rock Band more, but this is kak. Songs dont sound right due to random added in crap……Its no longer fun to play…also every thing seems to be outta sync (no matter how much a recalibrate)
Pile of Crap indeed, Buy Rock Band 2……Its never gonna go down in price tho….shower of bastards….
