Watched The Spirit, liked it….
Sin City esqe, obviously, due to Frank Miller co -Writing (with will eisner) and directing.
Looks great, very enjoyable to watch. The story line is a bit non existent for i while. Good fight scene at the start. Samuel L Jackson i thought was pretty good. Some funny dialogue from him. Also theres some funny experiments of his – really stupid clones. Funny stuff.
Its like sin city with different characters, and a bit less aggressive a world. The characters are oldy style people like 50s or something. At times i was abit confused as to what was going on but theres enough going on to forget them pretty quick.
All in all, i would reccommend it. Just to Samuel L with 2 massive guns trying to shoot down helicopters.

Last week after a recommendation from @Hypknotoad, i watch all 3 kevin smith “evening withs”.
First of all, i like Kevin Smith, i listen to the smodcast, and i enjoy his movies.
Secondly, I watched them in cronological order.
For me, the first was definately my favourite. Good questions were asked and some funny stories are told. Quite a few of the question askers were very strange people indeed. Some of them made it seem like they would be gay for Kevin Smith….strange people indeed. Jason Mewes also makes an appearance. he doesnt say alot. good stuff.
The second evening with KS, was probably just as good as the first. Same good questions, funny stories, and weirdos asking the questions.Jason Mewes again makes an appearance. Good stories about Tim Burton and superman and such…Nice..
The third was a little different than the first 2. For a start, its nearly 4hours long…its pretty funny, but the stories although funny, tend to go on a bit too long….Enjoyable still. Jason mewes fails to appear in this one, which is dissapointing. At the end of the credits you get to see KS thanking a load of people and then you get to see his Dog – Shekkie. Shekkie is one of the stories he tells during the show. Pretty funny but a little too long for my liking…
If you like Kevin Smiths films, these are definately worth a watch.

I just started a forum (see tab above) for Game trades.
Due to getting terrible prices from people like Gamestop, Game, cash converters, for trade in games, i thought i would create somewhere for gamers to trade with each other.
Havent got a good system for doing this so far, so it will probably change alot over the next few months.
Its pretty much based on people being honest with what theyre trading. As we all know, people arent generally honest with strangers so i will have to work on a secure way of trading with out it costing.

Watched both these in sequence last nite. Good stuff. Watched the first one with eng audio dub and the second with eng subs. Think i enjoyed the first one more.
Its basically one movie, or at least a continuous story. The Plot is as follows – A boy called Light finds a book in the street. When you write a name in the book, that person dies. But you can also write how they will and lots of other details. You have to know the persons name tho. By touching the book, it enables light to a Reaper, who he becomes quite friendly. Light starts killing criminals and low lifes etc. The authorities want to hunt him down, so they get a guy called L in to help. Lots of tricky details in sue, and lots of people die…
Then in death note 2, there is another death note found by a girl. She also sees a Reaper, but a different one. This ones pretty confusing compared to the first one or maybe its because a was readin subs. Light is now working for the Authorities special team which is in turn hunting down Kira(which is light). Lots of death note swapping occurs. The girl gives up half her life for the reapers vision. Allowing her to see peoples name and life span floating above their heads….This means she can see there names and kill them just by seeing their face.
Its a good show any how. I would recommend it.

Watched The Day The Earth Stood Still the other night. Very unimpressed. I wish i could go back in time and choose to watch something else.
Theres about 10seconds of action in the whole movie, the rest is filled with crap. People talikg about how the earth needs to change, and how people need to change, and how everything needs to change…..
Big Pile O Crap - Do not pay for this dvd in any form. Dont even rent it….

Did know anything about this film accept what i saw from the trailer…
Was fairly suprised how much i enjoyed it. Theres an outbreak of rabies in a building, only its a new crazy strain of rabies that turns people into Zombie Like Creatures. Very Bloody, very screamy, very enjoyable.
Lead roll is played by Debs, serial killers sister from the much loved series ‘Dexter’.

Good Old action packed movie…..
I didnt like either of the previous punisher movies. This one is excellent. Different guy playing punisher yet again. But this new guy is good. he doesnt say an awful lot, but he fits really well. Decent, not to complicated story line. Decent acting, and lots of killing, shooting, punching etc.

Watched this last week. Was an enjoyable movie. Basically, its like a typical low budget Bruce Campbell movie, except Bruce Campbell is playing himself.
A small town is being attacked by some sort of Chinese Demon and they decide to hire Bruce to get rid of it. He thinks its a birthday suprise, queue hilarious antics…
He takes the piss outta himself and his movies. Its funny, but i mite be bias, as im a bruce campbell fan.
Definately worth a watch. If you dont know who Bruce Campbell is, then you should watch the Evil Dead Trilogy. Good Stuff Indeed.

Had a discussion about time travel and how time is laid out etc.
I am of the opinion that -
anyones future is already decided. There is no such thing as free will.
To back this up i said that if any one person has to make a choice, then their choice will be based on the factors that are influencing them at that time.
So if someone was able to re-live a choice they made, then they would ultimately make the same decision, due to the same factors influencing. Only if some one was to go back in time and influence the person to make a different choice, would they choose differently. Of course thats not possible (yet, i hope), therefore all our decisions are already made.
Confusing to write this…
next week – What supplies would you need in a zombie ridden world……
